About Perko

Perko is a credit card and points strategy tool for people who spend across more than one entity — a personal wallet plus one or more businesses.

What it does

You enter what you spend by category, the cards you already hold, and where you want your points to take you. Perko ranks the cards that pay the most for that spending — separately for you and for each business — shows two finalists with the dollar value of each, and gives you an order to apply in. The report is free. A paid, one-hour professional assessment is available for people who want to work the plan with a person.

What it is not

Perko is not a bank, a card issuer, or a lender, and it does not make credit decisions or submit applications for you. Card terms, fees, and welcome offers belong to the issuers and can change at any time; every card page shows when we last verified its facts, and facts older than 120 days are not presented as current.

How we make money

Two ways: commissions from some card issuers or their affiliate networks when you apply through a link on Perko, and the paid assessment. Commissions never enter the ranking — see how we rank and our advertiser disclosure.

Who runs it

Perko is operated by Perko LLC. It started as the answer to a question its builders had about their own businesses: across a personal wallet and several companies, which cards, and in what order?
