What we are paid for

Some card issuers and affiliate networks pay Perko a commission when a person applies for a card through a Perko link and the application is approved. Not every card we track pays us, and the amounts differ by card and by issuer. Perko also charges for an optional professional assessment; that fee comes from you, not from an issuer.

What compensation does not do

• It does not change a card's rank. Rankings are computed from your spending, wallet, and goals before commission data is considered. Our policy is published at how we rank.
• It does not decide which cards appear. Cards that pay us nothing are included and recommended when the math says so.
• It does not decide which offer you see. When a public offer is better than the one behind our link, we say so and link the better one.

Where card links appear

Card links appear on our public card pages and inside the private report a user receives after signing up. Pages that contain card links carry a disclosure notice at the top of the page, not only here.

Offer terms

Card terms, fees, and welcome offers are set by the issuers and can change without notice. Terms apply to every offer. Each card page shows the date we last verified its facts; offers whose facts are older than 120 days are not shown as current. Targeted or mailed offers you receive directly from an issuer may be better than anything shown on Perko. Confirm the current terms on the issuer's site before you apply.
